Thank you for visiting the South African Climate Action Network (SACAN) website. SACAN uses a number of social media platforms (FacebookTwitter, Linkedin) to engage with our audiences.

We are committed to creating a community that encourages self-expression and mirrors the values of our organisation including respect for the rights, dignity, property, and opinion of others.

We ask all our visitors and our followers to do their part to help us achieve the goal. In doing that, we ask you not to post content that:

  • is threatening, abusive, obscene, indecent, or objectionable;
  • is purposefully deceptive, false, or misleading;
  • violates the intellectual property rights of other people;
  • is illegal;
  • references a third party website or is self-promoting spam;
  • is inappropriate, offensive, or hateful.

We reserve the right to remove any content and block users that violate our community guidelines, or that we find are otherwise offensive to our community.

Any messages that contain swear words, expletives, or offensive language will be removed.

We would be sorry to see you go, but if you change your mind and no longer want to receive updates from us, please feel free to ‘unlike’ our page or cancel your subscription to any of our social media channels.

All personal information shared will be treated with dignity and privacy as stated and in compliance with our POPI Act.
